Akeley Wood School is a vibrant, co-educational day school for children aged 1 to 18, set across three beautiful campuses in Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire.

Remember that feeling of not quite knowing what’s next?
Even as lessons and deadlines fill the week, many AW6 Sixth Form students are still figuring out who they want to be and where their interests might lead.
Then Friday afternoon ECA rolls around — and with it, time to explore! Some start new clubs like our Medical Society, others join Young Enterprise to test entrepreneurial ideas, volunteer at a care home, or delve deeper into a passion for sport, music or a chosen subject.
Through the AW6 Diploma Programme, students learn to connect these experiences to create their own story, building the skills, self-belief and purpose they’ll share in UCAS or apprenticeship applications and carry into life beyond school.
