School Fees

Our fees are transparent.

We provide a straightforward fee structure with additional opportunities available for students applying for scholarships and selected bursaries for qualifying parents.

Nursery Fees 2024/25

Akeley Wood Nursery is open for 51 weeks per year (and closed for one week at Christmas and on all English Public and Bank Holidays).

Fees include all meals and snacks. We ask you to provide your own brand of nappies and that any prepared milk feeds are brought in.

* Morning sessions are only available to newly enrolled Nursery 1 pupils during their first term.

All Nursery Fees shown above are exempt from VAT.
Any discounts, if applied, are calculated in relation to net fees, after the deduction of lunch charges.
Registration Fee for the School is £125
The deposit for a nursery place for UK/Irish families is £250 or one month’s fees for any families subject to immigration control.

The fees above are for Spring and Summer Terms 2024/25 and are inclusive of VAT which will be applied from 1st January 2025.​ ​
The annual fee is split into 3 termly instalments for your convenience.
Registration Fee for the School is £125
Fees are subject to an annual review, which usually takes place in April. The new academic year’s fees will be published on this webpage during the Summer Term.
The deposit for UK and Irish families for school entry (Reception to Sixth Form) is £750.
For non-UK or Irish families the deposit is one term’s fees.
Any discounts, if applied, are calculated in relation to net fees, after the deduction of lunch charges.

Payments

Key information:
  • Fees are due on or before the first day of term.

  • A full term’s notice is required in writing before the withdrawal of a pupil from the school.

  • Childcare vouchers can be used as payment for wrap around care.

  • A deposit of £250 is required for children joining us in Nursery, and £750 per child for students joining us in Reception to Year 13. This is returned to you when your child leaves the school.

*One full term's written notice of withdrawal and all outstanding fees paid is required for the deposit to be returned. More information can be found in the Parent Contract signed at the point of acceptance. International students should refer to the varying deposit information listed in ‘International students’.

Incremental sibling discounts:
  • 5% discount for one sibling

  • 10% discount for an additional sibling

  • 15% discount for any further siblings
