Last week, our Senior School students took part in Neurodiversity Celebration Week with interactive games which highlighted the challenges faced by individuals with neurodiverse diagnosis.โ
โThrough hands-on activities, students gained insight into different ways of thinking, learning and experiencing the world. Funds raised went to Bucks Mind, a Buckingham-based mental health charity.โ

On Saturday, our Year 12 Enterprise Team took to Midsummer Boulevard in Central Milton Keynes to showcase their locally sourced honey to the public. Their storytelling and sales skills were outstanding, attracting interest not just from customers but also from key figures, including the Mayor of Milton Keynes, Councillor Marie Bradburn.โ
Their hard work and innovation were recognised with the "Most Sustainable Company" award from the Young Enterprise judgesโan achievement that sets them in good stead for the upcoming Area Finals in April.โ
โMark Lambert, our Careers Lead, shared: โWe need our students to feel confident operating in the outside world and such experiences help build their business acumen. Well done Team Akeley, taking a simple product and adding some magic to it.โโ
